Valtra Wins Machine of the year at SIMA 2015
The brand new Valtra T Series has won the world-renowned 'Machine of the Year' award in the 180-280 horsepower category at the SIMA Show 2015.Nineteen independent agricultural journalists from European trade magazines in eight countries made the selection. 'Machine of the Year' is one of the most prestigious awards within the industry, recognising innovation, technology and total performance.
Valtra launched the new T Series in Frankfurt in November last year. From the beginning it has proven to be a success story both among dealers and customers. Deliveries started in December and the order backlog of the new T Series has been higher than ever before in the company's history.

The fourth generation of the Valtra T Series boasts a completely new design, with seven models ranging from 155 to 250 hp. The new cab is stylish, quiet and spacious with excellent visibility. Driver comfort, ease of use, ergonomics and safety are paramount. Valtra is the only tractor brand to utilize AIRES+ pneumatic front axle suspension, which gives unbeatable driving comfort. Four transmission types (HiTech, Active,Versu and Direct) guarantee customers a match for every job and all conditions. The reliable AGCO Power engine (6,6 l and 7,4 l) with SCR only, optimised turbo, EcoPower, SigmaPower and many other features result in excellent fuel efficiency, low emissions and productivity.

Special attention was also paid to easy maintenance. In addition, tractor service intervals have been extended to 600 hours.

Numerous customers were interviewed before and during the five year development project of this exciting new Series. The tractor has also undergone over 40,000 hours of testing in all conditions, both in the field and in the lab, in the Nordic cold and Southern heat. Durability, high performance, low operating costs and driver comfort were the top demands to this Series from the start.
