Valtra unique features in rural road maintenance
50 km/h speed and required minimum 150 hp
Aires front
axle suspension
Two point suspension of the
cab
Special balanced industrial tyres
Good fixing points for implements like a grader blade
between the axles
Versatile hydraulics and high flow option 160 l/min for
road brushing
A tractor like the Valtra T Series equipped with these features is
very competitive against lorries in maintenance of rural
roads all year round. Rural roads are winding and
hilly, and lorries cannot take much advantage of the
higher nominal speed. A tractor is more compact which
makes maneuvering at cross roads very easy and safe. The
front
loader can be fitted with a snow plough or bucket while the tractor pulls a sand spreader.
Lower running and insurance costs of the tractor mean big
cost savings
compared with lorries.
