To reach the best all-round visibility the Valtra S Series cab has only four posts. Wide, slightly curved windows further improve the visibility. The spacious cab gives freedom to find the best working position for each operators individual needs. There is also enough space for a passenger seat. Storage boxes equipped with cooling provide more operator comfort

All-round, all-distance work lights
Powerful lights make working with the S Series as efficient in the dark as in daylight. Fifteen programmable and adjustable work lights ensure bright far and near visibility around the tractor and also to the rear linkage. 

Air suspension of the cab
Automatic central positioning cab air suspension in the cab and a widely adjustable comfortable air seat provides the operator with excellent driving comfort for all speeds, loads and driving conditions.

Automatic climate control
Automatic climate control keeps the cab air fresh and the temperature in the adjusted level. The high capacity fans, with correctly positioned and adjustable air outlets keep the large windows clear without causing any unpleasant feelings of draft.

All Under Control
The Valtra S Series operator controls are split into four zones: The dashboard around the front steering column for road driving, warning and indicator lights. The armrest for continuously used controls of driving and hydraulic operations. The side control panel for presetting and activating functions, and as a fourth zone, the TwinTrac reverse driving controls.

Proline quick glance dashboard
In full speed road driving there is no time to read small digital figures or select menus. Automotive-like gauges show the driving speed, engine speed, engine temperature and fuel level at one quick glance. A multifunctional large digital display shows information of the tractor functions according to the operators pre-selection. 

Ergonomic armrest
Controls for functions which are often used, like rear linkage and auxiliary hydraulics are located in the armrest. Powershift and shuttle functions have been duplicated in the armrest for ease of operation. The functions for drive controls and hydraulic functions are placed on different sides of the armrest to avoid any misusage. To ensure more options for different types of work, the controls of five proportional valves of the auxiliary hydraulics are split so that two of them are in a crossgate joystick and three are two-way slide potentiometers. To improve the ergonomics, the shape and position of the switches make it possible to use several functions without moving the hand from the palm support of the armrest. The position of the armrest can be adjusted to individually suit each operator.

Symmetric side control panel
The side control panel is mostly reserved for presetting and activating functions. The short gear lever is also located here. The working light operating controls are positioned in the upper rear corner of the panel. The Tractor Terminal and the ignition key are placed centrally.

The new generation TwinTrac
The S Series optional reverse drive system with its unique visibility, a driving position with the controls equal to forward operation, and powerful work lights set new standards to the reverse drive ergonomics in tractors. Reverse drive equipment can utilise the small turning radius and high degree of manoeuvrability of the S-Series TwinTrac reverse drive, for example; the use of large width mowers. Adjustable steering column with shuttle lever, pedals equally to the front and two displays monitoring the important functions. Turning the seat switches automatically the steering and transmission controls to the reverse driving direction. The multifunctional armrest turns naturally with the seat.
