Valtra's engineering centre in Suolahti is responsible for the design of all tractor ranges produced by Valtra. The goal of our research & development work is to foresee customer needs and develop a functional, versatile and efficient tractor range which allows each tractors to be custom-built exactly to the customer's requirements. Valtra opened a new state-of-the-art engineering centre in 2007. The laboratories include an echo-free acoustics testing room, a freezing room, a dynamometer and a versatile hydropulsator. Valtra carries out the final testing of all tractors and their operations in real-life situations to guarantee performance when customers need them the most.
