Farmer successfully drives Valtra tractor from Suolahti to Italy

Italian farmer Luca Capraro, who departed with a team of colleagues last Thursday from the Valtra factory in Suolahti, Finland, arrived successfully in Verona, Italy, on Wednesday 3 March. The epic journey by tractor took the team through Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Germany across the Alps to Italy.

Today Valtra M120e has crossed two borders. After driving more than 2500
after the start in Suolahti, we reach Italy in the evening.

The Valtra "M 120 e" engaged in the ride Suolahti-Verona, three thousand kilometres non stop, is almost 12 hours earlier than the schedule and it risks to reach Verona the day before the inauguration of Fieragricola, the most important agricultural fair of the year.

“At 11 p.m., two hours earlier than scheduled, Valtra " M 120e" definitely closes the Scandinavian part of its trip and thanks to that advance it will disembark in Frederikshavn, Denmark, tomorrow morning at 5.30 a.m rather than at 11 a.m.”

The Valtra M120 is 200 kilometres far from Gothenburg that it will very likely reach at night time. So far there hasn’t been any technical problems, the fuel consumption remains stable at about ten litres per hour and no decreases of lubricant level have been noticed.

Start. With about thirty minutes of delay from the schedule, Luca Capraro, nineteen year-old farmer of Cesiomaggiore, from the province of Belluno, Italy, has started the engine of his new Valtra M120EcoPower and has crossed the gates of Valtra factory marching towards Italy.
