On the final day of the journey, the travellers were met by 10 friends of Vladi Peresson with their tractors at the Italian border near Klagenfurt, Austria.
The team left the camping ground in Gory early in the morning and continued their journey south. The first stop was at the premises of Hungarian Valtra distributor, Valkon, in Papa.
After an enjoyable drive from Suolahti to Helsinki, the evening ferry brought Vladi and his team safely to Tallinn. The amenities on board, especially the ship's own sauna, were greatly appreciated by everybody.
Italian farmer Vladi Peresson will drive his new Valtra tractor from the factory in Suolahti all the way to his home village Arta Terme in northeastern Italy. At 11:30 this morning the engine of the N142 Versu started at the factory gate and Vladi Peresson and his team set off on the 2761 km journey.
Between August and the end of last year Valtra succeeded in reducing the carbon dioxide emissions created by express deliveries by a total of 270.16 tonnes.
