The Valtra Shell Pulling Team competes with three Pro Stock tractors in Europe

The Valtra Shell Pulling Team concentrates on the 3,5 t Pro Stock Class with three tractors. Team Manager, Mr. Arto Tiitinen, is extremely excited by this class:

"The Pro Stock Class gives us an interesting opportunity to drive the Euro Cup Series races, bearing in mind that our goal is to take part in the European Championship in the autumn. The Pro Stock Class Tractors are based on the serial tractor manufacture technology. In the season 2000 the race tractors of the Team are based on the Valtra Valmet HiTech tractors of 200 hp: a single supercharger gives over 1000 hp. Only diesel tractors race in this class. Our transmission is so reliable that we can use the Delta Powershift in pulling. As a whole, our competition actions support our product development by giving us important knowledge on extreme loading conditions", says Mr. Tiitinen.

The Herlevi Family will continue as the race-drivers of the Team Valtra Valmet. Father Pekka, who has won several prizes both is Finnish and European Championships, drives his Sigma Power. The children Johanna and Matti, who already have gained success in the European tracks, will drive their own tractors, Doris and Caesar.

The Euro Cup Competition, consisting of 4 races, will be organized the first time in season 2000 in the Pro Stock Class. The Valtra Valmet Team will take part in this competition with its three tractors. The races will be organizes on the familiar Central European pulling tracks. In addition to this, the season includes 5 races of the Finnish Championship as well as possible invitation races in all over Europe. The highlight of the season will be the European Championship Race in Herning, Denmark, on 9th - 10th of September 2000.

The main goal of the team is to win the Finnish and European Championships as well as the Euro Cup Championship.
