Valtra increases purchases from Turkey

In 2003 Valtra and Turkish company Hema Endüstri signed a licensing agreement regarding the production of Valtra A Series tractors for the Turkish market.

Valtra approves 100% biodiesel (B100) for use in all engines, including Common Rail Engines

Up until now, Valtra has approved B100 biodiesel for use in all Tier 0, Tier 1 and Tier 2 engines as well as Tier 3 engines in the sub-75kW category that are fitted with rotary pumps. Biodiesel use in Common Rail Engines has so far been limited to a level of 20% of total fuel (B20).

Cleaner engines for the A Series

One of the most popular tractors in the Valtra model line-up, the A Series is now being offered with cleaner and more environmentally friendly engines. The main features of the A Series remain the same, but the engine technology has been upgraded to comply with Tier 3 emissions standards.

Jari Rautjärvi has been appointed Vice President, Managing Director of Valtra for AGCO EAME, effective immediately. Located at Valtra’s tractor manufacturing facility in Suolahti, Finland and AGCO’s new European Headquarters in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, he will be responsible for the management and development of all of Valtra’s operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
