Auto-Guide accurately steers the tractor without the driver touching the wheel

Valtra is introducing an automatic guidance system, Auto-Guide, as an option on T Series tractors. Auto-Guide is based on GPS satellite navigation technology and is capable of automatically steering the tractor with great accuracy; to within a few centimetres, without intervention by the driver.

Valtra offers ISOBUS couplings on N, T, M and S Series tractors

Valtra is offering an optional ISOBUS package on N, T, M and S Series tractors consisting of couplings and connections for a monitor, ISOBUS couplings for implements on the rear linkage and an ISOBUS Control Unit for transmitting data from the tractor’s sensors to the ISOBUS enabled implement unit.

U-Pilot Headland Management System makes headland manoeuvres simple

Common Rail engines to power N and T Series tractors

Valtra N121, N141, T170, T180 and T190 tractors are to be powered by SisuDiesel Citius-series engines. Featuring Common Rail technology Citius-series engines meet Tier3/Stage3A emission legislation. The T Series models are fitted with six-cylinder engines while N Series have four-cylinder units.

Valtra A Series now available with open cab

Valtra A Series tractors are now available with open cabs. Customers can choose from 74-, 88- and 98-horsepower models. All open cab models come with three-cylinder SisuDiesel engines, whereas the A85 and A95 models with enclosed cabs come with four-cylinder engines.

Valtra receives order for 189 tractors from China

Valtra will deliver 189 tractors to China this summer. Of the total amount, 140 are 8150 models and the rest T170c, T180 and T190 models. The tractors will be delivered to three separate customers in northeast and northwest China.

Valtra updates front loader range

Valtra is offering an updated line of front loaders this spring and summer. The first new front loaders will go on sale in spring and the remainder at the end of summer. At the same time the older 700, 900 and 1000 Series will be discontinued as factory-fitted options.

Valtra introduces powerful new hydraulics with output of 160 litres/minute

Valtra is offering optional new hydraulics technology on T, M and XM Series tractors. The new technology increases theoretical output to 190 litres/minute. In practice this allows for output of around 160 litres/minute, which is still the highest output for this size class of tractors.

Product development and marketing operations to move from Jyväskylä to Suolahti

Valtra’s product development and marketing operations will move from the current location in the centre of Jyväskylä, Finland to the factory location in nearby Suolahti. The Board of Directors of parent company AGCO approved the plans in a meeting on Thursday 21 April.

19,582 Valtra tractors produced last year

Last year was the first for Valtra as a part of AGCO Corporation. It was successful, as a record number of Valtra tractors were produced in 2004: altogether 19,582. Production was split between Brazil (9816 tractors) and Finland (9766).
