Carl-Gustaf Bergström appointed Partek CEO and acting President
23.05.2002Partek´s Board of Directors has received a letter of resignation from President and CEO Christoffer Taxell. Christoffer Taxell has under difficult circumstances striven for solutions concerning the company that are as favourable as possible for all shareholders.
The company´s engineering business has under his management developed into the global business it is today. As the Ministry of Trade and Industry has decided to sell its shares in Partek, the CEO has drawn his conclusions of the altered situation. The Board therefore accepts the request for resignation, and thanks Christoffer Taxell for his dedicated work for the company. Senior Executive Vice President and current deputy CEO Carl-Gustaf Bergström is appointed CEO and acting President.
