Product development and marketing operations to move from Jyväskylä to Suolahti
22.04.2005Valtra’s product development and marketing operations will move from the current location in the centre of Jyväskylä, Finland to the factory location in nearby Suolahti. The Board of Directors of parent company AGCO approved the plans in a meeting on Thursday 21 April.
The move will affect around 150 Valtra employees who currently work in Jyväskylä. New facilities to house the product development centre and additional office space will be built in connection with the tractor plant in Suolahti. Construction work is set to begin as soon as possible to enable the move to take place in early autumn 2006. The investment will further enhance and streamline Valtra operations in Finland.
