The way we did it

Our new Versu and Direct tractor models did not appear out of thin air. They have been designed and tested for several years. This work has involved dozens of innovations, simulations, experiments, prototypes, successes and setbacks, as well as tens of thousands of hours of testing. Dozens of people have actively worked on the new transmissions, not only at Valtra’s R&D centre in Suolahti, Finland, but also at engineering offices, universities, partner companies and on test fields.
