Valtra tractors have become more and more popular in rural road maintenance because of their versatility: one tractor can be used for ploughing snow, performing front loader work, using a snow blower, dripping sand, using a grader, transporting, cutting roadsides and much more.
In terms of cost effectiveness a tractor is overwhelming compared to a lorry. Rural roads tend to be winding and hilly, and lorries cannot take much advantage of the higher nominal speed. A tractor operator also has better visibility, which increases safety.
Valtra´s unique front loader beam support is a must with front loader fitted snow ploughs. The Valtra T Series is excellent in maintenance of the rural roads where as the N Series fits perfectly for the maintenance of streets, walkways and narrow roads.
