Valtra tractors ranked best at holding their value in Europe

A recent Koneviesti study found that Valtra tractors achieved the best average resale value among the brands examined in Europe, retaining 66% of original value. The study analysed 2015–2020 tractor models above 100 kW (138 HP) with fewer than 8,000 operating hours, using VAT-free pricing from Tractorpool and Mascus gathered between December 2025 and February 2026. Among the models studied, the Valtra N Series retained the best value overall, while Valtra N and T Series tractors led in the 140–200 kW range. The study also noted that, across all brands, higher-horsepower tractors in the 201–250 kW range and those above 300 kW retained only around 50% of their original value on average.
