Section Control 96 with Multiboom by Valtra uses GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) and the SmartTouch interface to automatically turn on and off individual sections of ISOBUS implements. Save time and money by minimising gaps, eliminating overlaps, and reducing the amount of inputs used.
Valtra Section Control works with ISOBUS implements to control up to 96 individual sections of a sprayer, seed drill, spreader, row crop cultivator, or any other ISOBUS implement that has the Section Control feature. The Multiboom feature enables up to three individual booms to be automatically controlled. This means both front and rear-mounted implements can be used simultaneously. Everything is smoothly and easily controlled from the SmartTouch interface.
Section Control 96 works in connection with Valtra Guide auto-guidance, available with up to centimetre accuracy. Overlap settings can be easily controlled, for example, to ensure that when precision drilling the last seed falls either exactly on the first line of the headland or with a 'half-row- spacing. When an existing field boundary has been plotted, Headland mode allows the inside of a field to be worked before the headland, resulting in less soil compaction when cultivating and seeding.
Multiboom enables Section Control functionality across multiple ISOBUS implements on up to three booms, no matter whether the implements are front or rear-mounted, or both. Up to 96 individual sections or elements of implements can be automatically switched on or off.
ISOBUS-compatible seed drills, sprayers, spreaders, and row crop cultivators can be controlled by Section Control 96 with Multiboom from the touchscreen of the SmartTouch armrest. Simply plug the ISOBUS implement into the tractor and all relevant data are transferred. The SmartTouch Extend second screen can also be used to provide an overview when working. Fast and accurate direction recognition automatically detects when the tractor is reversing.
