Welcome to Finland for Valtra's 75th Anniversary Celebration!
The Anniversary Celebration is just around the corner, and we are excited to welcome you to Finland very soon!
We have planned two memorable days together, filled with celebrations, great company, and a chance to experience both our Valtra home and the Finnish countryside.
DAY 1: ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION AT THE VALTRA FACTORY
📍 Valtra Factory, Suolahti
Valmetinkatu 2, 44200 Suolahti
Our celebration evening will begin at 6:00 PM at the Valtra Factory.
As part of the program, we will also visit the factory. For safety reasons, please ensure that you wear:
- Long trousers
- A long-sleeved shirt or jacket
- Closed-toe shoes
DAY 2: A DAY AT THE FARM
📍 Tommi Mäkinen Farm, Puuppola
Tervamaantie 9, 41120 Puuppola
The second day will take place at the farm of former World Rally Champion Tommi Mäkinen.
The day runs from:
- 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM for most participants
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM for the French groups
To help you start the day comfortably, hotel breakfast has been arranged earlier than usual, giving you time to enjoy a Finnish breakfast before departure.
TRANSPORTATION & PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Detailed bus transportation schedules will be waiting for you in your hotel room upon arrival. You will find:
- Departure times from the hotel to the event venues
- Return transportation information
- Breakfast serving times
WEATHER & CLOTHING
September weather in Finland can be unpredictable, with cool mornings and temperatures that can change throughout the day. As we will spend much of the second day outdoors, we recommend bringing:
- Warm layers
- A waterproof jacket
- Comfortable outdoor footwear
Average daytime temperatures in Central Finland in September are typically around 10-15°C
Most importantly, bring your enthusiasm and celebratory spirit. We are looking forward to sharing this special milestone with colleagues from across the Valtra family and creating memorable moments together.
