Valtra has become the best-selling tractor in Norway with a market share of 20.6 percent in 2017 after an amazing finish in December. The most popular Valtra model is the N174, but the new T-series had a very big effect on the success.
A total of 688 Valtra tractors were sold in Norway in 2017. This means a total increase of 221 tractors from last year, which equates to almost 50 per cent more tractors than sold in 2016.
"It has been an amazing year for us. We have dedicated sales staff across the country, good service technicians and of course excellent products. That’s why it’s extra fun for us to be able to reach the top of the scoreboard”, says Tor Jon Garberg, Sales Manager for Valtra in Norway.
"This year we launched several new models that have been well received by the market. The new SmartTouch Armrest is one of the great, new technological releases that has contributed to the success. Customer feedback has also been very positive”, says Garberg.
With Massey Ferguson as number two and nearly 250 Fendt sold, the Eikmaskin offers an outstanding position as an importer, with 48.5 percent of the market.
